Dalí Watch

The other day, we were sitting in our cucumber slicing our eyeball with a razor blade when a brilliant idea came to us. "Hey, we should make a Salvador Dali watch!" So we took off our serpents, revived the bread basket, and got down to work. It took awhile, but we designed a wristwatch that we think Salvador himself would be proud to wear. The face of the watch depicts Dali himself, and his moving mustache serves as the watch's hands. An ant marches around the rim of the watch, ticking off the seconds.  The Dali Watch has a Japanese quartz movement and 1 year guarantee against melting over tree branches.

Face is 33mm in diameter.

SALVADOR DALI
(May 11, 1904 - January 23, 1989)
Dalí was almost as famous for his eccentricity and exhibitionism as for his Surrealist paintings, which he called 'hand-painted dream photographs.' Dalí was influenced by the writings of Sigmund Freud and his emphasis on erotic imagery and the subconscious. In addition to painting, Dalí also made surrealist ventures into filmmaking (with Luis Bunuel, Un Chien Andalou), advertising and the ballet.

Title: Kick ass watch!
Sep 3, 2012
This is a great watch. I saw it when I was shopping at a museum store and me being a big fan of Dali couldn't pass it up. The only thing that I don't care for is the quality of the band but otherwise its a great watch.

Title: Daily watch
if you've got a nut in the family that enjoys Salvador, there is nothing better than strapping him to your wrist. this was a gift and a great success.

Title: I like this thing!
Everybody ask me where I got the watch and like it very much. Nonetheless, the strap is a little bit fragile, so I think I'll have to replace it soon, as I fear the buckle might break or loose. The design is perfect (the circle with the ant is barely visible!), as is the size of the watch. I'm really satisfied with this watch, I got it quickly and very well packaged!

Title: Moustache time zone
I try to catch my watch at 9:15 twice a day so I'll see Dali's moustache at its perfect place on his face, but at any other time, this watch remains cool and functional. Thinking of changing the strap though because the strap is a bit too plain -- definitely not something Dali would approve of. But overall, great gift to give to yourself or to others. =)

Title: Surreally?
Whether he was documenting his defecations, creating masterful works of art, or just being all scandalous around town, Salvador Dali was and remains a true celebrity. This watch was a gift, and I wholeheartedly commend myself for showing such consumer prowess. Buy the watch. It's awesome possum.
