Sometimes a slipper is just a slipper

Looking for a gift for my mother, she loved the Socrates one I gave her several years ago, so thought I would try again with a little Ludwig Van, and she loved it.

Very funny. It was perfect for my daughter who is creative and who has always been a little self conscious about one of her ears which is sort of pointed like an elf.

It was a gift for my scientifically-minded son. He loves it.

This mug is a little smaller that most mugs, but that is not a drawback. It fits well in my Keurig coffeemaker. I enjoy reading the sayings each time I use it.

I bought the Oz passport, as well as Neverland, the Unconscious, Camelot, Pangea, Wonderland, heaven & Hell as stocking stuffers/gift cards for various family members. They were a big hot and made a nice change from the usual gift card. My only suggestion would be that a few "place' stamps, ie. "the Red Queen's palace" for Wonderland - the "emerald City" for Uz, etc. would add to the ambience. My son said he was tempted to dress like Peter Pan and use his Neverlabd passport at the US/Canada border to see what would happen ... I said probably lifetime disbarment from the States.

I bought this as a stocking stuffer. The recipient mentioned that the notes are not as "sticky" as others.

It was the great Emanuel Kant - or was it Paris Hilton? - who said, warm feet, warm heart. This axiom holds true today as it did in days of yore. These Freudian slippers got the good laugh we were hoping and were so attractive that all our other slippers were left with their tongues hanging out. These slippers may be for the feint of heart, but not for the Jung at heart.
