The Incredible Escaping Houdini Mug

This Houdini Mug is (almost) as magical as the Great Houdini himself. It features four classic posters from Harry Houdini's career. Even if it didn't do anything, it would be a cool mug. But of course it does... When you pour hot liquid into this 12 ounce mug, amazing things happen. In some posters, Houdini vanishes before your very ideas. In another, Houdini's handcuffs disappear. We'd tell you how this illusion is performed, but magicians never reveal their secrets. (HINT: It has to do with thermal dynamics and pixies.) There's no escaping it - this is one incredible mug!

Disappearing mugs are not dishwasher safe.

Harry Houdini
(March 24, 1874 - October 31, 1926)
'Magic is the sole science not accepted by scientists, because they can't understand it.'
Magician, publicity wizard, actor, aviator, author, debunker of spiritualists, international sensation, and the greatest escapologist in history, Harry Houdini (born Erich Weisz in Budapest, Hungary) made a name for himself as the 'King of handcuffs' and went on to invent some of the greatest illusions and escape acts of all time. Famous stunts include escaping from a straight jacket while being hung upside down by his ankles, and escaping from stocks while submerged in a tank of water.

Title: Houdini has escaped the mug!
I'm not sure if the mug surface was nicked or bumped, but bits of Houdini's face at the top of the Buried Alive began to chip off in Week 1. Now the entire face is gone, leaving a white patch. Houdini has truly escaped now. Still a beautiful mug.
