Oscar Wilde

Oscar Wilde was a playwright, novelist, poet, and critic. And now he can add "doll" to his curriculum vitae. Our Oscar Wilde Little Thinker Doll is fashionably dressed in a purple satin double-breasted suit with a red ascot and a green rose by his lapel. He cuts such a handsome figure, we caught the Shakespeare Little Thinker checking him out. You can almost imagine this 11-inch Wilde sitting at a little desk penning something funny and outrageous. It's a dandy of a doll if ever there was one!

OSCAR WILDE
(October 16, 1854 - November 30, 1900)
A playwright, novelist, critic, poet, and dandy, Oscar Fingal O'Flahertie Wills Wilde was one of the greatest celebrities of his day, known as much for his wit and lifestyle as for his writing. Wilde's years of fame ended dramatically when he was imprisoned after being convicted of 'gross indecency' (a euphemism for homosexuality, which was illegal in England). Shortly after his release from prison, Wilde died penniless in Paris at the age of 46.

Title: Why a Ken when you can have your own dandy?
I like the doll, you see him and know inmediatly who he is. My only problem is the choose of fabric for Wilde's outfit, I think a purple velvet would be better. Besides the rose of my puppet is green, which is weird.
