Son of former Michigan Governor George Romney, Willard Mitt Romney attended Harvard Law School after engaging in missionary work for the Church of Latter-day Saints. He found his real métier, however, in private equity investment banking where he amassed a fortune. He went on to serve one term as Governor of Massachusetts where he created state-wide health care and supported gay rights. He's changed his mind on those issues now that he's running for President.
