CARL JUNG
(July 26, 1875 - June 6, 1961)
Originally Freud's leading disciple and heir-apparent, Jung broke with the good doctor and formed his own school of analytic psychology. Jung wrote about the human personality and explored its spiritual and unsconscious aspects, including the archetypes of the collective unconscious. He identified the introvert and extrovert as basic personality types.
